Luke Walton

Luke Theodore Walton (born March 28, 1980) is an American professional basketball coach and former player who’s the head coach of the Sacramento Kings of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played 10 seasons as a forward in the NBA, winning two NBA championships with the Los Angeles Lakers. He won a name with the Golden State Warriors as an assistant coach, also has been the head trainer for the Lakers from 2016 through 2019.
Walton played basketball with the Arizona Wildcats. He had been also a two-time selection from the Pac-10 along with a second-team All-American. The Lakers chosen in the second round of the 2003 NBA draft him. Following the 2010 NBA Finals, his father along with Walton, Hall of Famer Bill Walton, became the first father and son to have Bill won in 1986 and 1977 won several NBA championships, and Luke in 2009 and 2010. His best season mathematically was 2006–07 with over 11 points, 5 rebounds, and above 4 assists per match.
As the Warriors’ interim head coach in 2015–16, he directed the team to the winning streak to open a year in league history.
