Residents of sober homes pay affordable and simple all-inclusive rent payments on a weekly or monthly basis. The term « 12 Step Program » describes a way to recover from addiction that is based on the model developed by Alcoholics Anonymous. Many drug and alcohol treatment centers base their treatment on 12 steps – the first three of which are situational, the next four addressing the practical issues created by the addiction, followed by two steps focused on making amends for hurting others. Steps 10 and 11 involve a deeper examination of the previous steps and the final step is focused on helping others avoid and recover from addiction.

Approved applicants can move in as soon as there is a bed available. We can often accommodate your move-in day within 24-hours of your application.

Certification of a recovery home is voluntary; most certifying organizations are affiliated with NARR, the National Alliance for Recovery Residences. Our residents are each in different places in their personal recovery journey. We welcome new residents who are committed to living a life of continued sobriety. Applicants must be over 18 years old and haven’t used drugs or alcohol within 14 days. Sober homes offer an opportunity for men and women in recovery to live together and support each other while pursuing a new life in recovery. Chuck has devoted his life to managing our Elm Home. A full-time manager for a large Worcester manufacturing company, he devotes his home life to those in recovery as one of our House Managers. Chuck, like all of our House Managers, moved in as a resident. He completed House Manager Training and began his role in 2019.
Our Operators build businesses and build a better world. Addiction recovery does not end with discharge after completing a rehab program. Facilities that offer aftercare planning and/or support work with patients to ensure sustainable recovery by helping to plan and make arrangements for transitional or sober living, help with housing, vocational counseling, etc.

We may require a deposit to hold a bed for a future date. Apply online at the link below, or print a paper application and fax or email to our Alcohol dependence office. All applications are subject to approval, and providing false information on an application is grounds for terminating your residency.
All-inclusive sober living rent payments are due weekly or monthly and are not covered by insurance or subsidies. Our homes are informed by clinical research and best practices. Our mission is to build sober home communities where our residents are supported in their recovery journeys. Apply online; someone will call you to conduct a phone screen usually within a few hours. Applications are accepted on our website, as well as faxed, e-mailed, or over the phone. We carefully screen each application and conduct a telephone screen prior to approval to ensure a good fit in our homes.
